Following breakfast, Rabbi Julia Watts Belser, Assistant Professor of Jewish Studies at Georgetown University’s Theology Department, leads an interactive session about Jewish sources that inspire our contemporary disability rights activism. Rabbi Watts Belser, author of Jewish Values and Disability Rights, focuses her writing and teaching on Jewish feminist ethics and rabbinic theology and culture in late antiquity.
